This young athlete maintains substantial online audience
The young golfer can count on plenty of prominent supporters as she starts her professional golf debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, received a special exemption to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, owns numerous international courses and regularly plays against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we have tight competitions," she stated.
The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply stay calm."
"He essentially advised me to compete and have fun," she added.
"From my perspective, he's simply a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's focused on running the country, making him quite busy."
As an amateur, Kai has played in a mere three competitions this year and maintains the 461st position in AJGA standings.
Yet she can get advice from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Kai's mother.
"He stands as the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.
"Additionally, he's a more impressive person. He told me to compete, have fun, adapting to whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against multiple top competitors in the sport at the competition, including second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
The LPGA commented that her participation exposes the sport to new audiences, particularly reaching younger fans.
The social media influencer maintains substantial online presence and just introduced a personal apparel and wellness label.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
